Happy hump day homies!
So with the first week of school over halfway over, I’ve been a bit on the exhausted side by 5 p.m. everyday this week. Don’t get me wrong, my students are solid. For the most part, they are respectful, eager to learn, and incredibly sweet. It’s just a total shock to the system to go from sitting in meetings for seven hours a day to corralling and training and hugging and monitoring and chasing around 8 year-olds for seven hours a day. Hopefully by next week, I will be back in my teacher groove.
Needless to say, today’s post is arriving to you all in the evening instead of morning. The back-to-school paperwork, supply sorting, and classroom organization has been pushing some extra hours on me, so getting ahead on the blog hasn’t been happening.
Life goes on, right?
It wouldn’t be a Wednesday without some Wal-Mart goodies to keep your taste buds and your waistlines happy, right? This week, I've got my fellow teachers in mind with my finds. Hopefully, y'all can kiss the snack and soda machines good-bye and try some of these healthier finds when you need a pick-me-up after a hard day of molding America's future. Teacher or not, I hope you enjoy!
