We’re back, y’all! After months of easing off the blog, I’m back ready to bring y’all TONS of new recipes, workouts, pregnancy and new mom hacks/advice/insight, and, of course, motivation to help keep you focused on priorities in life and reminders of the joys God places around us daily.
With that said, little man and I have had a BIG week; at nearly 8 weeks, it was time that I introduced him to the wonderful, wild, whimsical world of Wal-Mart. Of course, we had to go at a quieter, calmer time in the week when I knew germy kiddos wouldn’t be around. I kept him in his soft carrier so people couldn’t easily touch him. But all in all, it was a smashing success!
See some of the goodies we found this week! And, as always, if you hit up the Wal-Mart this week or weekend and throw some of these OR SOMETHING NEW into your cart, snap a pic and tag me in it on Facebook or Instagram. I love it when y’all do that! Totally floats my boat!
1. Coco Joy Coconut Water
WHAT: Organic, no nonsense coconut water
WHERE: Beverage section near carbonated waters
WHY: Unlike a lot of other coconut waters, this one has nothing else added. No sugar, no flavors, no synthetic vitamins. Just natural electrolytes like potassium and magnesium.
2. Sam's Choice 72% Dark Chocolate
WHAT: Swiss dark chocolate bar
WHERE: Candy aisle with other chocolate bars
WHY: Only $1.99 a bar, no soy, and dang scrumptious
3. Mother's Milk Tea
WHAT: Nursing-friendly herbal tea
WHERE: Coffee and tea section
WHY: With several herbs being harmful to milk production like peppermint and spearmint, its helpful to have one that’s loaded with herbs that have been linked to stimulating rather than inhibiting milk. Plus, it’s just tasty.
4. Good Thins The Rice Ones
WHAT: Gluten-free crackers
WHERE: Cracker aisle with other gluten-free options
WHY: While not squeaky clean, I’opt for these rice-based, soy-free crackers when I need a salty, crunchy snack. The veggie flavor adds a zesty, almost ranch-like flavor, too.
5. Justin's Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups
WHAT: Dark chocolate peanut butter cups
WHERE: Candy aisle with chocolate bars
WHY: When you have one of those days that you just need a peanut butter cup, these organic ones will satisfy your Reese’s cravings in a much cleaner way.
That's all for this week, gang! Remember, if you hit go Wal-Marting this week or weekend and throw some of these OR SOMETHING NEW into your cart, snap a pic and tag me in it on Facebook or Instagram. See y'all Friday!
