As I strolled through the garden center this Saturday's crisp, October morning browsing the autumnal blooms I could possibly add to my porch pots, I was stunned, NAY FLABBERGASTED, to find the entire indoor garden area taken over by Christmas decor.
Really, Wal-Mart? Really? It's the first weekend of October. I haven't even bought pumpkins yet and you are throwing inflatable Santa and artificial, pre-lit trees in my face.
I'm not mad, yet I'm seriously disappointed.
I know there are some of your out there (cough cough, I'm looking right at y'all, Rachel 1 and Rachel 2) that would keep their Christmas decor up all year.
Don't get me wrong, I LOVE CHRISTMAS! But, I also love Halloween and Thanksgiving and autumnal spirit. For now, I'm going to just pretend that I didn't see all of those snowmen and reindeer and what not...
Let's get to the other portion of the superstore that isn't exploding Christmas spirit...

That's all for this week, y'all. If you are heading to Wal-Mart this week or weekend, just avoid the garden center unless you are one of those few who is already listening to Christmas music. Again, no judgment. To each his own. Be well, and cya tomorrow!
