Hey there little sunshine nuggets!
How are ya?
I'm just peachy keane, jelly beans, because I'm with my people in Knoxville, TN.
Mr. HHT was going out of town for several days, so instead of my mom flying to hot, sticky Texas to lend a hand with McNugget I flew to be with her and my whole clan.
Cooler temperatures. Real mountains. Basset hound snuggles. Having someone else who will cook dinner. Free babysitters. Two YMCAs within a few miles of me. An endless supply of Acrobat roseee and goat cheese.
What more could I possibly want?!
Not a lot, y'all. Life is good.
For many of y'all, you're braving or preparing to brave the storm that is school starting up again. Summer is sweet, but it's time to move on.
And remember, when school starts, other wonderful things follow such as SEC football, cooler weather, and pumpkinpalooza.
To ease the blow of school starting and persuade you back into the swing of reality, I shared 13 of my favorite make-ahead, Paleo breakfasts yesterday. Even if your life isn't impacted by a school calendar whatsoever, you all gotta eat breakfast. And I've picked some of my favorites to highlight. Click here to browse through the breakfast brilliance.
This past week has been busy; I earned my CHL (that's a license to carry a gun on my person for y'all non-Texans out there), flew solo with McNugget to Tennessee, and am living it up here with him for a few more days.
But you'll see with the workouts that I still manage to make something happen daily in terms of movement and activity.
Whether traveling or staying at someone's house, we can all slip in a few minutes of plank or a quick power walk through the airport terminal (double points if you do it while wearing a 16 pound bundle of snuggles).
Fitness doesn't have to be complicated or fancy. Just find a few things you enjoy doing and do them as much as you can.
With that said, here's what we've been up to this week. And, as always, feel free to post comments or questions about my workouts, postpartum fitness, or whatever. I love hearing from y'all, and I'm here to support you in your journey to health!
