Howdy you ray of gorgeousness, you!
How’s it hangin?
Did you have a fabulous 4th? Hopefully it was filled with fireworks and parades and red, white, and blue bliss.
That didn’t exactly happen for us…too hot to go to a parade, fireworks are too late at night, and I ended up eating leftover Greek meatballs. At least I made sure I wore my American flag tank top and dressed my son in red, white, and blue finery.
We’re successfully transported our 3.5 month-old to the sandy shores of South Carolina, where he is currently surrounded by 3 toddlers, 2 infants, and loads of aunts, uncles, grandparents, and, of course, our rock star great grandmother, Jen-Jen.
While it’s been a hectic week trying to get packed up and cleaned up before leaving town, we made it to South Carolina in one piece without any blowouts, meltdowns, or evil stares of hatred from our fellow air plane passengers.
Needless to say, I’m just now getting my workouts post to y’all, which I normally have ready and out on Saturdays…whoops.
That’s life, huh?
Sometimes, you just don’t get it all done. Or you have to cut back here or there. My house isn’t as clean as I’d like. I wasn’t able to get all my pre-vacation errands completed. I don’t have all of this week’s posts already done and scheduled to automatically roll out while I’m on vacation. Life goes on.
Sometimes, our workouts have to be like that, too. That hour-long workout in your gym you thought you were going to get in turned into an eight minute circuit in your garage while your infant naps. Life goes on.
Curious what I’ve been doin’ lately to work on my squishpack? Here are my workouts from this past week!
