To all the daddies out there, I hope you’re getting in some extra time to go fish or shoot guns or just chill out with your family. You all work so hard and do so much for your families. While Father’s Day isn’t until tomorrow, hopefully your entire weekend is a reminder of what a rock star you are to your family.
Speaking of being a rock star, how have you been doin’ with your fitness this week? Like so many of y’all out there, I’m really having to work to plan my workouts around my son’s nap schedule, either zipping over to the gym the second he finishes a meal thus maximing my time before the nap window closes or running outside into my carport to crank out an at-home circuit.
Either way, I prioritize my workouts. I can’t be a kick butt mom unless I take care of myself.
Hard truth for some of y’all to swallow, but it’s the truth, and you know it.
Whether you’re a busy mom or dad, you’ve gotta make sure you’re fueling your body with healthy choices, crankin’ out workouts, and getting the sleep your body needs.
Check out the ways I’ve been strengthening my mom bod and whittling down that squishpack this week.
