How are ya?
I can’t lie….I’m 110% awesome at the moment.
Cause this momma is getting a way overdue vacation from her 24/7 job.
I absolutely love and am so blessed to have the privilege of staying home with my son day in and day out; however, after 8 months of endless spit up and nursing and stanky diapers, I’ve been eager for a brief hiatus from my parental responsibilities.
Shout out to CamCam and D.Daddy for allowing this belated babymoon to happen.
Yup, if you haven’t been up on my Instagram or Facebook, Mr. HHT and I left little McNugget with his grandparents in Knox Vegas and are in Dominican Republic for our friends’ wedding.
Poor me, huh?
And while on vacay, I look forward to exploring ways to work in some fitness in between trips to the swim-up bar (what better type of bar is there?!) and guacamole station.
I just can’t not be active while on vacation. I don’t wanna quit working out just because I’m at a resort. So I won’t. Some of our friends here have thought we're crazy for wanting to work out on vacation, but that's just part of what we wanna do with our extra, childless time here.
That’s just what works for me. But no judgment if you don’t hit the gym while you’re on vacation. It’s a few days that you’ve earned to relax and unwind..and if not exercising is part of how you unwind then I say it’s okey dokey…just know that it may be a little tough getting it started again when you get back home.

Saturday: Travel Day to Knoxville + 3 mile Jog in TN
Airport Walking- 1.4 miles
Sunday: Belated Squaterday
1000 m row, 10 back squat, 10 pull-ups
800 m row, 8 back squat, 8 pull-ups
200 m row, 2 back squat, 2 pull-ups
Stroller Walking- 1.8 miles
Monday: Zumba+Yoga Bootcamp at the West Side YMCA in Knoxville
Stroller Walking- 3.1 miles
Tuesday: Body Pump at the West Side YMCA in Knoxville
Stroller Walking- 1.6 miles
Wednesday: 4.5 mile jog in Knoxville
Stroller Walking- 1.2 miles
Thursday: Travel Day to Dominican Republic+Tire Flip Circuit
Airport Walking- 3.2 miles
3 rounds- 50 mountain climbers, 40 jump squats, 30 squat jacks, 20 burpees, 10 tire flips (I did this outside on a basketball court...HOLY HUMIDITY!!!)
Friday: 12 Minute Full-Body Circuit
5 Rounds- 10 single arm dumbbell snatches, 10 push-ups, 5 pull-ups, 5 pikes
