Howdy there you lovely blossom of goodness, you!
We, McNugget and I, send glad tidings from my homeland today, from the rolling hills and misty mountains of east Tennessee. To say my heart is full would be an understatement, y’all. While Texas has so graciously adopted me and accepted me as one of her own, Tennessee will always feel like my home. No offense, Texas. You’re pretty solid, too.
With that said, this past week’s workouts have been hectic at best; between traveling Memorial weekend and midweek to TN to getting a fever on Memorial Day and working Wednesday, my workouts have been squeezed in at best.
Nonetheless, I know even when life gets a little craycray, to make time for my fitness. It makes me a better wife, mom, and person.
A lot of y’all tell me you want to workout more, you want to tone up for summer, you want to lose that belly fat, and you can totally do all of those things if you prioritize your health. That may mean going to bed a little earlier so you don’t skip out on your sunrise jog, or not going to lunch with your buddies so you can slip into the gym during your lunch break. Make it a priority, treat it like an appointment, and build that time into your schedule.
Okey dokey artichokies, here’s how I’ve been working on my mom bod, this past week! And ALWAYS remember to modify my workouts to make them work for YOU! Be well, and have a FABULOUS week!
