The weekend is here! The weekend is here! Hazah!
To be honest, this past week has not been too rough. Now next week, y'all, that's the week that separates the true teachers from the weaklings. The glitter and singing and sugar...gives me the willies just thinkin' about it.
Nonetheless, the weekend is here and I'm ready to rest, refuel, and recharge in preparations for the Christmasy calamity of next week.
Despite the arctic blast we've had here in Texas this week, I must admit I didn't mind it one bit. I was able to get in a few walks in the chilly December air. Little McNugget doesn't mind the cold, either, so we just rock out to some Mariah Carey Christmas and stroll along our merry way. But if the cold isn't your cup of tea (or cocoa or cider), all of my workouts were in the gym where there's heat.

Sunday: Off day/ 3 mile walk through the neighborhood enjoying the lights and chill
Monday: Upperbody Circuit Since My Legs Are Still Sore From Saturday
5 Rounds: 5 manmakers (20 lb each hand), 10 thrusters (25), 15 rows (45), 20 overhead swings (25)
Tuesday: Zumba Boogie at Shall We Dance Studio
Wednesday: Pound Class at the Corsicana YMCA
Thursday: Fullbody Circuit
3 Rounds: 25 wall balls (12), 25 db snatches (10 lb) on each arm, 25 step ups each leg, 25 sit-ups on the ball (more bump-friendly than the floor), 25 ball slams (12)
Friday: Upperbody Circuit
2 Rounds: 30 plie squats (105), 50 overhead swings (25), 75 sit-ups, 5 pull-ups, 30 back squats (95), 30 pushups, 20 front squats (55), 30 overhead lunges (15)
