This past week I’ve been chillin with extended family at the beach in South Carolina. No gym just means creativity kickin in with the workouts. Below are what I did daily to get the blood pumpin, but each day also had 3-5 miles of beach walking, too. No matter where I travel, I always try to walk a few miles everyday (I use my Health app to track it). You could do these workouts on the road, at your house, or at the gym! Get movin' y'all!
Sunday- rest day, rode around the marshes on rusty beach cruiser and went to grocery store (a workout in itself!)
Monday- 3 mile morning beach jog
Tuesday- Upperbody Set with 10 and 5 lb. weights (cause that’s all I had)
Complete 10 of each, then 9 of each, then 8 of each….until you get to 1
Manmakers, 10 lb.
Reverse Fly, 10 lb.
Skullcrushers (one-legged), 10 lb.
Plank Renegade Rows (each arm), 10 lb.
Tricep Kickbacks (one-legged), 10 lb.
Hammer curls (one-legged), 10 lb.
Windmills, 5 lb.
Mac Raises, 5 lb.
Wednesday- Stairwell Workout (check out my video of it)
6 rounds- 10 box jump burpees, 20 plank shoulder taps, 20 step-ups (each leg), 10 handstand pushups, 10 decline push-ups
Thursday- Leg Burnin' Circuit
Friday- 3 mile beach jog with frequent stops to rescue stranded starfish from their incendiary doom
Saturday- rest day/travel day back to Texas by way of LaGaurdia (cause Myrtle to NYC to Dallas is sooo logical)
Time to restock the fridge, unpack the bags (yes, plural), revive the houseplants, and get back to the normal pace of reality. Traveling all day has been a bit of a kick in the pants...this guy knows what I'm talkin bout.
I hope y'all are having a marvelous weekend! Keep making better choices, be well, and I'll see you wonderful people on Monday!
