If you’ve been tuned into HHT all week and are a fan on Facebook or Instagram, you already know that your Healthy Happy Texan has become plural- Healthy Happy Texans. No, Will isn’t co-blogging with me…trust me, that wouldn’t end well for any of us.
I am absolutely overjoyed and beyond bless to be eating, sleeping, praying, and exercising for two! In mid-March, I get to bring a baby boy into this world and into my life!
The first thing that I couldn’t help but notice was a drastic change in my chest region…an area that I had never really noticed before. It seemed like those things just popped out overnight. Needless to say, I had to buy some new sports bras STAT. Before I noticed a bump or mushy pooch that it started as, I couldn’t help but notice those new additions.
Thanks to the crazy roller coaster of hormones in the first trimester, my acne was extra aggregated through it all, especially on my chin and jawline. I’m talking the painful, cystic stuff. No fun, but I’m not about to start taking antibiotics to clear my skin.
When school started again in mid-August, I noticed my patience level this year seems more diminished than usual. My tolerance for children’s shenanigans and tomfoolery seem minimized, and I felt like I was going to go postal way more than normal. I didn’t feel like I was my normal cool, calm, and collected self with my students; in fact, I had to really be intentional about praying for more patience daily. Did it help? Absolutely!
Alright friends, I’m going to stop now before I bore you half to death with what I had to keep a secret from you all from July-October. As always, your prayers and positive thoughts for my son and myself are much appreciated!
And, like I said, feel free to leave comments, questions, AND ADVICE in the comments below! I can’t wait to read them! Have a fabulous day, y’all! See ya tomorrow!
