Yes, they’re fruits due to their bulbous, woody seeds.
Any who, from boosting digestion to promoting eye health, reducing cardiovascular disease to protecting the liver, it’s a little powerhouse!
For years, this buttery delight has been adorning quesadillas and fish tacos, adding that fabulous creaminess for an extra handful of change.
Totally worth it, Chipotle.
But today, we’re busting avocados out of the Tex-Mex mold, straying away from lime juice and cilantro and embracing it’s whole other side, it’s sweeter side.
Now, if you’ve been on the HHT wagon for a while, you’re probably 0% surprised that I’ve taken these gold+green gems and thrown 'em into yet another dessert.
Yup, avocado’s natural rich, butteriness means they’re perfect in desserts!
Chocolate mousses, truffles, and pies can all be made just as decadent and delicious without any dairy thanks to this little nugget of heart-healthy fats.
