Good morning my lovelies!
Let’s get straight to it.
I haven’t been to Wal-Mart since last Wednesday.
Therefore, in exchange of a few Paleo discoveries at your neighborhood Wal-Mart, I’m sharing a round-up of 6 homemade+healthy candy recipes that would be perfect to whip up and serve at any Halloween partays you might be having this weekend or early next week.
And when I say partay, a gathering of just you+microwave popcorn+double feature of Corpse Bride and Bettlejuice would be equally acceptable. In fact, that sounds absolutely perfect, and if you are doing that on Halloween, please invite me.
So to the treats...
Even if you don’t have a strong sweet tooth, these homemade chocolate nomnoms aren’t waxy or nauseatingly sugary. In fact, some of them border the fence between sweet and savory.
Have some kiddos under your roof that plan on going trick-or-treating or somehow bringing loads of processed junk into your home?
You could trade them their garbage for a batch or two of these wholesome, they-won’t-know-they’re-paleo treats.
Kids are always up for negotiating.
They just might take you up on it.
Even if they don't, you can let them have their nasty junk and you store some of these in the freezer tucked under the frozen broccoli. They'll never find them.
Just click on an image to zip straight over to the recipe page.
Let's Chat: What's your favorite Halloween candy?
Leave me a comment and let me know!
I've already tackled my top 3: Reese's Cups, Butterfingers, and Peanut Butter M&Ms. But I wanna know yours! I'm always looking for new ideas for my paleo makeovers. Plus, it's never too soon to start planning for next year!
